Asia's leading international art fair will be returning to Singapore once again when Art Stage Singapore 2012 is held in January.

The event at Marina Bay Sands Convention and Exhibition Centre will see some of the most influential figures in the Asian art market coming together to showcase cutting-edge pieces.

More than 100 galleries will be taking part in this year's show, including Asian exhibitors such as Gana Art Gallery, Mizuma Art Gallery and Tang Contemporary Art, as well as western participants including Lehmann Maupin and White Cube.

It will also play host to a series of lectures from art industry professionals, as well as fringe programmes and other art-centred activities.

The 2012 event will hope to build on the success of the inaugural fair in 2011, which attracted around 32,000 visitors and exhibitors from 26 different nations.

Art Stage Singapore runs from January 12th to 15th, with single-day tickets available for S$30 (£14.90), while season passes cost S$60.

Visitors are advised that children under six are not allowed in, while photography, video and audio recordings are also prohibited.

Art enthusiasts can choose from a huge selection of Singapore hotels at AsiaRooms.com, with the Marina Bay Sands Singapore among them.

Full event details can be found at www.artstagesingapore.com.
