(www.thecot.org) will open its 2008-2009 concert season on Sunday, October 12. The 3
p.m. performance will be held at the Carolina Theatre in Durham and highlight 20th

Concert performances include: Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari’s “Suite Concertino for Bassoon,
Strings and two Horns,” Ferruccio Busoni’s “Divertimento for Flute and Orchestra,”
Alfredo Casella’s “Serenata for Small Orchestra,” Arrigo Pedrollo’s “Concertino for
Oboe and String Orchestra” and Nino Rota’s “Concerto for Strings.”

“The excitement surrounding the new season is fantastic,” says Lorenzo Muti,

hallmark of the ensemble.
