programme for Voice and Accent Level 1, to be conducted from 19th September to 24th
September, 2008

This programme focuses on the essentials of Voice and Accent. It explores the
various facets of Voice and Accent Training beginning with the Theatre style,
transitioning to speech therapy and leading to the International Phonetic Alphabet
(IPA). This programme features trainers who have demonstrated extraordinary success
in their chosen fields and is directed by Ms. Devyani Bhatnagar.

The target audience for the programme includes Training Managers, Trainers & Sr.
Trainers, Content Developers, Teachers & Tutors, Language Trainer Aspirants and
Executives from the Education Sector, or simply someone with passion for the English
language and who suffers from the occasional malady of correcting people on language
usage!
It would help the attendees:
· Understand the basics of voice training and speech creation
· Discuss various schools of thoughts in voice training
· Build technical knowledge of speech sounds
· Correct and improve their own style of speech
· Learn the techniques used in training
· Practice the techniques through mock sessions
· Incorporate the knowledge and feedback in their training style
· Develop the ability to assess candidates and their trainability

Ms. Devyani Bhatnagar is the Vice President-Training at Chetna Consultancy Services.
She has over 10 years experience in the IT/ITeS industry, designing, developing,
delivering and managing learning interventions for global audiences in a wide
variety of areas. She has worked with GE and Daksh at the start of her career and
consulted with a number of top ITes companies. She is also a certified Neuro
Linguistic Practitioner.
