Hip Hop Heavyweights Go In With Kilogram

Released on: August 9, 2008, 12:02 pm

Press Release Author: David Gates

Industry: Entertainment

Press Release Summary: Independent music artist Kilogram works with music industry
heavyweights which lead to him signing with a major record label

Press Release Body: Hip Hop is alive could be the slogan for Kilogram’s latest
CD/DVD “I Go In”. The CD/DVD features such hip hop heavyweights as Lupe Fiasco,
Maino, DJ Kay Slay, Bun-B, Peedie Crack, E-Ness, Gillie Da Kid, and many others.
Kilogram accomplished an unheard of feat by having so many heavyweights on one
project for an artist without a record deal. The DVD chronicles his true independent
rise to the top.

Kilogram mastered his craft and used his “Go In” philosophy to make it to where most
independent artist can only dream of. The “Go In” philosophy simply means to put a
100 percent into whatever you do. This is a universal theme that can be used by many
people in many endeavors such as sports, education, business, etc. It is the
application of this philosophy that has led to the movement.

Kilogram leads the “I Go In” movement by demonstrating how he put 100 percent into
his career and found success. As a true independent artist with no record deal he
has been featured in such magazines as The Source, XXL, Hip Hop Weekly, and has been
featured on radio stations across the nation. Kilogram has worked with music
luminaries such as T.I., Missy, Busta Rhymes, Trey Songs, Lil Flip, Blu Cantrell and
Papoose. He has had two music videos on MTV and BET.

Kilogram is not only an artist he is also CEO of his own record label Chain of
Command Entertainment. With support from his partners Philadelphia Eagles player
Sean Andrews and Israel Calderon he has entered the final stretch of his independent
grind by signing with Atlantic Records. Check out his myspace page
