Press Release Body: Westborough, MA, 09, June 2008 -- Richardson Bradshaw Unz, principal and general manager of L&W Investigations Northern California territory, recently announced the hiring of Alan Walker as senior manager. In this role, Walker will be responsible for the management of all operations in Northern California, as well as business development and hands-on investigations.
Walker served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as an air traffic control specialist, holding a number of positions ranging from facility operations to training to personnel. He comes to L&W after a 12-year run with Nokia, holding various security management positions, rising to the company’s North America security operations manager.
“Alan Walker is a pro’s pro when it comes to operations. After working with him at Nokia, there’s nobody I’d rather have on my team, plain and simple,” said Unz. “Besides his many talents and capabilities as a manager, Alan holds more industry certifications than probably anybody in the world.”
Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Maryland and a master’s in human resource management and development from Chapman University. From the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), he is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) and Physical Security Professional (PSP)—certifications ASIS states only 20 people in the world possess. In addition, Walker is certified as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) by the Information Systems and Audit Control Association and as a Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) by Disaster Recovery Institute International.
