Onstream Systems, is seeing a massive upsurge in demand for its industry leading
RapidRedact™ product.

Besides US federal FOI demands the potential market for RapidRedact™ has been
recently boosted by growing debate related to identity theft and the general
public’s demands for the removal of social security numbers from public documents,
according to OnstreamSystem’s CEO, Glyn Williams.

Williams, who attended the FOSE 2007 convention - designed to showcase the latest in
Technology to US Government IT professionals - in late March, said that as a result
of federal and state government action Onstream System’s US partners were facing an
unprecedented demand for the New Zealand-designed RapidRedact ™ product.
He attributed the successful penetration of the US market by RapidRedact™ to the
fact that unlike many other redaction products available it could handle any
electronic document, rather than just PDF files.
Besides this it is able to redact Social Security numbers, US phone numbers, email
addresses, credit card numbers, and any other information that can be defined.

Besides the success at FOSE 2007, Williams said, Onstream Systems also had
considerable success at the LegalTech tradeshow in New York earlier in the year.
Williams said besides selling the RapidRedact™ product to an increasing number of
federal and local government agencies in the US and Canada, Onstream Systems had
also found demand was growing in law enforcement and associated agencies.
As a result Onstream Systems, besides having a direct relationship with US
resellers, had set up an OEM agreement with EDAC Systems, a specialist software
house providing document management solutions to the US Federal Government.
