Sports - The best in women`s rodeo scheduled to compete

Press Release Summary = The best in women’s rodeo scheduled to compete in Alvarado,
TX Jan. 16-20. This is the championships for the top lady rodeo professionals in
the business and it will be webcast live on www.Barrelhorseworld.com.



Press Release Body = COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- As the Women\'s Professional Rodeo
Association begins a new chapter in its illustrious history it does so in record
fashion. For the first time in history, the WPRA will payout $100,000 to the barrel
racer with the fastest time on one run during the WPRA Finish Line Mega Finale at
the Diamond W Arena in Alvarado, Texas, Jan. 16-20.


The WPRA Finish Line Mega Finale also includes the 2006 season finals of the Coors
Women\'s National Finals Rodeo, the Dodge Rodeo Pro Futurity Finals, the JB Quarter
Horses Pro Derby Finals, the Wrangler Divisional Tour Finals and a 4D Challenger
Race and Finals. Action begins Tuesday morning Jan. 16 and runs through Saturday,
Jan. 20.



The Women\'s National Finals Rodeo will be held Jan. 18-20 and will feature the top
105 WPRA contestants in the events of bareback riding, bull riding, breakaway
roping, team roping, tie-down roping and barrel racing. World titles will be awarded
following the final performance on Saturday night.
