The new version contains major improvements and fixes in the Personal Information Management and Administration modules. It also enhances system’s functionality by offering a new comprehensive Leave Management module. The Leave Management Module contains the following features:

• Convenient leave requests through the employee self service and approval or rejection from the supervisor.
• Reporting capabilities, based on leave entitlement, balance, history etc.

Version 2.0 is the fourth major release of OrangeHRM since February 2006. Within the last month OrangeHRM reached more than 11,000 downloads and was ranked amongst the top 50 by SourceForge – an open source project repository.
