Press Release Body = Following in Russia’s footsteps Ukraine is experiencing strong
subscriber growth with ownership reaching 30 million by 2007, (a growth of 17
million since 2004).

Data from Wireless World Forum\'s \"Ukraine Mobile Market 2006\" statistical handbook
reveals that the majority (95%) of new subscriptions are in the prepaid sector
pushing down voice ARPU (which will fall 11% to $6.9 pcm by 2007). In contrast the
messaging and content sectors provide the main growth story with the average
Ukrainian spending $1.6 a month on data services by 2007.

Further growth in the Ukrainian market can be achieved through three routes: 1.
Continuing to attract new subscribers though affordable prepay options. 2.
Converting prepaid contracts into more lucrative postpay contracts. 3. Developing
the data market.
